In the next few months, quadrant consultations will be taking place to gather community perceptions about homework. This is part of the board's Homework Policy Review.
It has been asked that seven parents from each Family of Schools attend their quadrant consultation. Each parent representative will be asked to bring not only their own opinions to the consultation, but also those of other parents in the ward. If you are interested in being a parent representative at this meeting, please send me an e-mail or give me a call and include the name of the school(s) you are connected with and what grade your children are in. Since it would be helpful to have a diversity of perspectives at the table, we are particularly in need of a parent of a secondary school student.
