All students in Ward 15 have access to the Core French program.
In addition, there is a wide variety of French Immersion and Extended French programs available to all students in Ward 15.

All students in Ward 15 have access to the Core French program.
In addition, there is a wide variety of French Immersion and Extended French programs available to all students in Ward 15.
Early French Immersion:
- Is available in 3 schools in Ward 15: Jackman PS, RH McGregor PS and Withrow PS
- Begins in SK and is offered through to the end of Grade 12 (Pathways are determined for each entry school)
- Offers 100% French instruction from SK- Grade 3
- English is introduced in Grade 4 for 40 min to 60 min/day and increased in Grade 5 to 75 min/day to 50% of the day
- From Grades 6-8, the program is 50% French instruction and 50% English instruction
- From Grades 9-12 students must complete a minimum of 10 credits(4 in FIF and 6 in subjects taught in French)
- Graduating secondary school students are eligible for the TDSB Certificate of Bilingual Studies in French Immersion

Middle Immersion:
- Is available in Ward 15 at Wilkinson PS
- Begins in Grade 4
- Offers 100% French instruction for Grades 4 and 5, 80% French instruction for Grade 6
- Students from the Middle Immersion program blend in Grade 7 and 8 with students from the Early French immersion programs
- Graduating secondary school students are eligible for the TDSB Certificate of Bilingual Studies in French Immersion

Late French Immersion:
- The Late French Immersion program is a program unique to Ward 15 and is offered at Cosburn M S
- Begins in Grade 6 and is offered through to the end of Grade 12 (Pathways are determined for each entry school)
- Offers 80% French instruction from Grades 6-8
- Students from the Cosburn Late Immersion program blend in Grade 9 at Leaside HS with students from the Early French immersion programs
- Graduating secondary school students are eligible for the TDSB Certificate of Bilingual Studies in French Immersion
Pathway for Late Immersion School:
Cosburn -- Leaside
Junior Extended French:
- Is available at Diefenbaker ES
- Begins in Grade 4 and is offered through to the end of Grade 12 (Pathways are determined for each entry school)
- Offers 50% French instruction from Grades 4-8
- Subjects taught in French are: French Language, Social Studies and The Arts
- Subjects taught in English are: Mathematics, Science and Technology and English Language
- Graduating secondary school students are eligible for the TDSB Certificate of Bilingual Studies in Extended French.

Pathway for Junior Extended School:
Dierenbaker -- Cosburn -- Leaside
Grade 7 entry Extended French:
- Is available at several schools for Ward 15 students
- Begins in Grade 7 and is offered through to the end of Grade 12 (Pathways are determined for each entry school)
- Offers 40% French instruction for Grades 7 and 8 (français, histoire/géographie + 1 other subject in French)
- From Grades 9-12 students must complete a minimum of 7 credits (4 in FIF and 3 in subjects taught in French)
- Graduating secondary school students are eligible for the TDSB Certificate of Bilingual Studies in Extended French.
